About Me

Hi! My name is Autumn. I’m a born-and-raised New Yorker, but I’ve been calling Northern Virginia home since 2007. I love exploring all corners of the state with my husband and our twelve- and two-year-old daughters.

I was a Spanish teacher for many years, and I rediscovered my love for writing during the pandemic, when this blog was born! Two years later, I left teaching to stay home with my youngest daughter. Since then, my little writing “hobby” has grown and flourished – in addition to writing for my own site, I also run a freelance content writing and blogging business. My specialty is family-friendly recreation and wellness.
